Ive been thinking of doing my terrain thing different, I would like to generate all the texture transitions as seperate textures. I can do everything, but I dont know how to send the framebufer to a texture unit so I can call it later on?

I think NeHe got what you want in his Lesson 37.

Don't your read his tutorials ?
If not, I would recommend to read them. At least, read the titles and the summary. Later, you'll check them further when you'll need.

I read the first dozen or so, then I started learning things on my own. I perfer to learn from scratch, I better understand it that way.

hey, you do what you want
What I''m just saying is that if you don''t want to read all the tuts, it is at least a good thing to know the topics title.

Well, anyhow. Is that tutorial useful for your application ?
