intel computer vision open source

-Intel released some time ago a open source bundle of programs related to computer vision or machine vision if you prefer, under the name of opencv. It consist of face tracking program, web cam as joystick..and else. You need to compile single applications or the whole under visual c++ , you will need IPL from intel (image processing library) and directX sdk(120 MB? with examples and stuff, maybe less clean).- I would like to build a specific utility out of the applications set. It is a "visual" motion capture getting input from a camera. You need to assign points to a image for the program to capture motion from a video.. Is there anyone here interested in cooperation(I am not programmer, but I can use visual c++ hopefully)or giving a helping hand? Gab-
