DirectX Question....

Anyone know of a tutorial that explains loading and rendering an animated mesh with DirectX 8.0 (DirectX Graphics)? I currently am reading "The Zen of Direct3D Game Programming" and it covers loading and rendering a mesh from a .x file complete with loading in the materials and textures, but no animation. It just displays the static mesh. Say I create the animation in 3dsmax using simple key frames and then export it to a .x file. Can someone help me load it in and render the animation?
