I have a program right now, and it creates a sort of menu side window. To close the window, I made my own normal button and put the caption as X. When the user clicks on this button,I instruct the program to send a WM_DESTROY message to the child window. Unfortunately as you all have predicted this closes the entire program. So is there any way that I can only close the child window? By the way I''m talking about C++ not VB if you had that thought
