Terrain rendering!?

As far as I know there are a few methods for out-door rendering. Could you mention them, and while your at it - why not mention the in-door renderingtechniques as well... Out-door; ROAM OCTREE QUADTREE FRUSTUM CULLING OCCLUSION CULLING In-door; BSP - PVS PORTAL Is it possible to combine these methods in any way? What''s to think about and what is to prefer over another... /Q

Well, those that you mentioned are not methods for outdoor rendering, those are just methods to reduce the number of polygons to process.
If you already know that they exist, why not give a Google.com try ?
Also try vterrain.org - good source of info for outdoor rendering.
Yes it is possible to combine these methods, at least frustrum culling can be combined with any other method.
If you could be more specific about what you want, i could be more helpful.
Also search this forum forum for those methods and ul c much of info.
