HI I use DirectX8 and I try to draw an iso Map on the screen . But I don''t know what is the best strategy . I ''ve read a lot of tutorial but I don''t understand how i can draw a lot of tile without locking and unlocking my Vertexbuffer a lot of time . So I have one tile(4 vertex) strored in my vertexbuffer and in the render function i draw this tile and i use translate to place tiles on the screen . Do you know another technics to draw a simple 20*20 iso map ? bye May the force be with you

I use a seperate vertex buffer for each tile with its correct vertex positions, so I just go through 2 for loops and render each vertex buffer.

Possibility
