PS2 Linux language?

Does anybody know what programming language the PS2 Linux kit will use?

I would guess C/C++, Since i haven''t heard anything about using a compiler other than GCC.
Probably Perl, PHP, Python and a few other such languages will be quickly ported.

The PS2 Linux Kit compile is GCC. Supported languages are C & C++. Java should be comming soon, due to Sony engineering a Java VM for PS2.
