howdy all, I''m after info on backup mediums, specifically CD-RWs. Do these lose quality after a few hundred burns, and does anyone use them for daily backup purposes? Also are they as easy do damage as I hear and how compatible are they with regular CDROM drives. Thanks Toby

It depends. If you want good quality cdr/cdrw's, in my opinion, definately don't get generic brands. I use nothing but TDK and haven't had a single problem with them. Check with the manufacturers website on recommended media.
If you're willing to spend a little more, I'd get a PlexWriter, they're excellent.
As with reading cdrw's, according to my Plextor manual, most cdrom drives made after 1997 will read cdrw's fine.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that most cdrw's you can write to them up to 1000 times before degredation.
