Linking DirectInput3 with C++ Builder Problems

I am trying to compile an OpenGL program that uses DirectInput under C++ Builder (I was previously using MSVC++ 6.0), but am having trouble. I converted the DX8-supplied dinput.lib using the supplued COFF LIB file conversion tool, then did an "add to project" with that LIB. My main directinput code linking (DirectInput3) problems went away (linking problems), but I''m still getting: unresolved external: _c_dfDIKeyboard referenced from "blah...." unresolved external: _c_dfDIMouse referenced from "blah...." These are some type of constants used by DirectInput, but oddly, adding dinput.h and dinput.lib to the project didn''t solve the problem. Any thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks.
