what up.. I've been gone for a couple of days at my sisters college campus.. It was one of the best experiences of my life so far.. and it makes me want to go to college a whole lot more.. anyway I just wanted to thank all yall for giving your opinion and helping me to arrive at a conclusion.. I've decided to go to college and major in computer science and minor in visual communications.. get a B.C.S and B.F.A.. alright(im tried of talking white..lol) ..peace!!

Though I think that quality will always be more important than the papers you get from schools, schools can help.

As someone mentioned earlier, you learn more than just skills. Not only time management but you get to learn the industry from a common perspective. This means that you''ll be able to better communicate with your team members. This will be easy to attain through internships and everything. Not everything can be gleaned off the net.

Sure there are lots you can learn from there and probably more than what they will ever teach you in school. So why not take school as complementry. Learning more never hurts.
Going to college is not just about becoming a specialist at a certain field. You go to college also to get an education. If you learn nothing about your major in college, I still think it is worth it because you also get a general education from the core classes you have to take. This makes you a more well-rounded person which will help make you more sucessful.
