tile images

Hi, I''m fairly new to isometric game programming, but successfully started working on an engine. As I am totally untalented in art I wanted to download a tile library which I could use before going on. Now I downloaded a complete library, but there aree several images in one file. Why can''t I just have a file for each image? c u

The main reason is probably that adding all graphic files in one file speeds up your application. If you dig into the library you will probably find a way to extract the single images.
