I''m currently working with glass panes, but I seem to have run into a small obstical, namely I have a menubar, with drop down menus and I am using a glass pane to allow overlaying & manipulating components. The problem is that I am detecting if the mouse has hit the JMenubar, or a JDesktopPane and that works fine, but I start to have problems when a menu has dropped down because I can''t select anything via the mouse - the glass pane is always getting references to the JDesktopPane component - how can I resolve this ?
