I wrote a simple program that plays WAV files using SDL audio, and I noticed that the audio seemed to be distorted. I spent some time tweaking little variables SDL_AudioSpec structure I used with SDL_OpenAudio, but no matter what I changed ( buffer size, frequency, etc. ) it still comes out slightly different than it should. I was wondering if anybody knows enough about audio or SDL to enlighten me on what I can change to make it sound better. Thank you for your help.
