Texture mapping

How can I do for the texture mapping on an object loading from 3ds max. I have a loader (aseread on delphi3d.net) of ASE files, I managed to load the file but not with his texture which is made with 3ds max. Maybe because in 3ds the texture is a .jpg I don''t know. Thanks for your help.

go to the NeHe site and read the tutorials on loading BMPs and TGAs after which you should have no problem writing your own ASE loader which reads in texture coordinates. Sorry I can''t offer any more direct advice but I''m at work.
