Can I run an OpenGL app on a Glide card? If not, why is that?

If you mean, running OGL apps on a 3Dfx Voodoo based card, then yes, of course it''s possible. Just be aware of the fact, that you''ll need an OpenGL driver (included in the 3Dfx driver install) and that unfortunately 3Dfx was known to make the worst OpenGL drivers on the planet (OK, excluding Matrox and Intel

)...

if you''re under Linux, then it''s possible (i don''t know under windows, but i remember a minigl driver for voodoo2 and maybe another one). you may loose some performance, but the acceleration is ok.
