Dear all, Ages ago i found a tutorial on how to add datatypes to the debug watch window in Visual C++, this was great as i commonly use a VectorType that has 3 floats in an array. instead of displaying them as 3 lines, i used to have VC configured to show them as follows X: ?? Y: ?? Z: ?? If anyone could tell me which file it is i need to do this in againb, or what site the tiutorial is on, i would appreciate it Thanks Paul.

From the MSDN :

To display meaningful values for a custom datatype

The file autoexp.dat controls how the debugger displays data types in windows, Quickwatch, and DataTips. You can modify this file to add meaningful displays for your own datatypes. For details, see the autoexp.dat file itself (located in the /bin directory).
