I am still having the problem with a wavey distortion when using OpenGL with win 2K. When I run under win98 I don''t get this. Has anybody else had this problem? At first I thought it was my old voodoo 3 not liking win 2k, but after I upgraded to a Geforce 2 MX 400 I get the same thing. Hmmm, my screen looks like a flag flapping in the wind when I run my game and I don''t like it. I suppose it could be my monitor too. I have fiddled with a lot of moniter/card settings with no resolve. Any help? Abs

It sounds like the monitor to me (doesn''t like the resolution you''re running in), if it''s possible try swapping with your 98 box, or if not try changing the resolution your game uses.

I have a ViewSonic E771. I heard good things about them, but I not completely happy with it. I guess you can''t expect much from a bargain monitor. It was supposed to be the best of the low end monitors though. If it is just the monitor it is not a big deal then.

I''m not saying the monitor is a dud, just that it might not be designed to run a particular resolution (In this case windows has either installed the wrong drivers for, or the drivers are not working and reporting that a bad resolution is ok)
