Is there a way to determine the number of bits supported by your video card for the Accum Buffer? I checked DDCAPS, I didn''t see anything? I not sure if DescribePixelFormat or something like that would work? I keep errors when I try. Thanks

Yep, you use DescribePixelFormat, and it''s in the PIXELFORMATDESCRIPTOR, a member called cAccumBits or similar. Though, it is extremely unlikely, that your hardware will support a hw accumulation buffer. Rule of thumb is: if your video card costed under $5k, then forget it, it won''t have it.
