I''m trying to compile a program with a couple of friend functions in a class and I get the following error message. INTERNAL COMPILER ERROR(compiler file ''msc1.cpp'', line 1786) Please choose the Technical Support command on the Visual C++ Help menu, or open the Technical Support help file for more information Error executing cl.exe. I''ve tried this on a couple different computers, so I know its not really an internal compiler error. Any ideas? Rocket5556

1. Make sure you have the latest MSVC service pack (5?).

2. Rebuild the project clean (clean + rebuild or rebuild all). Occasionally mismatched precompiled headers and whatnot will cause problems like this.
