Hi... can I make class-level variables in Delphi(6)? In other words, variables that are unique to the class, they aren''t instantiated with each object, but just once on class level (similar to class member procedures and functions). Thanks... the Delphi Help just couldn''t help me here... Henri

Not that I know. The closest I can suggest is to declare a global variable in the implementation section of the unit which implements the class.

No, Delphi does not have class/static fields (though it has class/static member functions). The only way to do this is as the previous person said -- declare the variables in the implementation section of the class'' unit.
