Where can I go to learn about key frame animation. I just finished the .3ds format tutorial on gametutorials.com, but the info on key frame anim is not available. What are some other good sources for info on key frame anim? Implimentation of key frame animation in .3ds format? Thanks in advance.

I think you can get a copy of Rune cheap and I believe it has in-game cinematics. Since that is an Unreal based game I would assume all games using Unreal have the capability. Existing programs are the best tutorials. I might have some reservations about doing a flat out knock off, but I would have no reservation about learning how to use it and then using that knowledge in writing my own program. If you didn''t use any of the knowledge you gained from using any of the programs you have used then you wouldn''t be able to write jack.
