How would I go about wrapping the mouse pointer at the edge of the screen? I''ve looked every where, but can''t find any examples of it in source form

Yeah, that''s me.

I want the mouse cursor, when it hits one side of the screen, to appear on the opposite (sp?) side.

im not sure if this would work, but maybe handle the WM_MOUSEMOVE message, find when the mouse touches the edge of the screen(maybe use GetSystemMetrics()), then set it on the opposite side...

That''s what I was thinking.. but won''t I have to use Hooks for that?

My app won''t receive any mouse messages unless the mouse is over the window.

I wanna make this a background app.

Could you use DirectInput to keep track of when the cursor hits the edge? It sounds like you already know how to put it on the other side of the screen, right?

well, not really. The point is, I''m trying to track mouse movement system wide.

I guess I''ll just experiment with hooks.

thanks anyways
