win32/linux ipx

are there any specific libraries or sample code for ipx programming on these platforms? i havent had much luck finding any info on them, most source code i''ve found was written for dos and used a LOT of asm

Why exactly would you want to use IPX anywho? Novell NetWare isnt much of a gaming platform and TCP and UDP are much easier to learn and work fine across a LAN

I''d agree, IPX / SPX is fading fast and has been for the last 3-4 years. If you must use IPX for some reason, you can use IPX with Winsock 2 and on unix I believe IPX sockets are just another protocol family.
