I''m new to Delphi, my first learning project is to write an IDE for for a text editor. I would like the IDE to look similar to Dev C++. I have created a frame on the left hand side of the window for organising projects. But I can''t seem to make the width of the frame resizeable. Could some tell me what i''m not doing, please.

You place your TTreeView or similar component on the form and set the Align property to alLeft. Then place a TSplitter (Advanced component page) on the form and make sure it is aligned to the left as well. Now you have a resizable treeview.
