I know that windows uses a message processor to handle input from the user. I'm trying to make my program portable to Linux / Unix / MacOS X, but I don't know a thing about them. I'm planning on building a framework that will abstract their inner workings to make it very easy to port, and this abstraction layer will include a message handler, so I need to make sure about something. Do all Linux / Unix / MacOS X Oses use a message processor, where all input is passed to? Edited by - Brobanx on February 23, 2002 9:58:02 PM

I dont know, but if you write a message-handler interface, porting calls to that handler shouldn''t be a problem.
