Hi. I am writing a 3d engine, using the quake 3 .bsp format for the levels. After loading the map, and implementing some rendering code i decided to move to collision detection. BIG TROUBLE. Basically, I am testing the camera against the splitting plane of each node to determine my child until i hit a leaf. Once i hit a leaf,i test collision with all the planes, of that leafs brushes, if i collide with a plane, i then use the point of collision to test if it lies within any of the actual geometry (using the sum the angles method); however my code seems to not work. I can walk right through some walls, and when i do hit a wall, i just stop (it doesnt back me up a little like i coded it, and i get locked to the wall so i have to exit the program). PLEASE any help would be great. Thanks in advance, Nomad
