Is there anyway I can determine (using windows messages, or otherwise) if a file has just been created? I''m sure windows issues some sort of message, say after a download has completed and the file saved to the hard drive, but how can I catch it? Anyone know of some good tutorials or reference sites/books. Thanks in advance.

Check out "filemon" from sysinternals.com - the source code should be available there too.

Wow! That''s a little more than I hoped I''d have to learn just to find out if a file had been created. Program is really nice though, but it''s gonna take me a while to figure out just what it''s doing and extract the parts I need, then convert them over to Delphi. Is there an easier way? Anyone?
