How I load a .3DS file?
How this file is arranged?
My idea is load the points of the triangles and put it in a matrix[MAX][3]...

I use a file converter.
I convert the .3ds or other file format in a .c opengl structure.
I pack the data in a file and I use the glDrawArray() function.
