My 1st pixel:
1976 - on a RCA VIP COSMAC computer kit ~$279.
64 x 32 res in 1 color, white.
Later I upgraded to an 8k ram card, and graphics up to 128 x 64 in 8 colors.
This computer was little more than a refrigerator/machine controller, yet I still coded up a rotating 3d scene.
And without an assembler, I had to program in the micro''s opcodes directly.
Eventually someone created an interpretor, I did a SpaceInvaders thing w/ that.
Shortly after that I played with some Fortran on a Textronix screen in a university environment.
