I have tried making VB6 games befor, and the code is not a problem. I am a good programmer, and I know how to use file i/o to make savegames. However, it''s soooooo choppy. Is there any way to make a game that''s not completely choppy? When I move stuff around, I can see many weird lines going through that object. HELP!!!!!!

May I suggest backbuffering? Blit all the nessecary images to a hidden form, then blit the entire content of that hidden form onto the visible form. This is much faster because you''re just blitting one large image instead of multiple smaller images. You might also look into DirectX.
