How to make triangulated geometry 3D-objects?

I need information on how to make triangulated geometry 3D-objects. I can easily calculate the positions for the vertices of my 3D-objects. What I need to find out is in which order the vertices should be picked to make it fit with a triangulated geometry. Could someone give me information about this or tell me where I could find a tutorial on triangulated geometry? Check out my 3D-site: Without knowing how, I have actually made a lot of solid objects from triangulated geometry. For instance check out "Lava alien", "Chrystal Entities" and "World with flying aliens" on But I need to know how this really works in theory.
