This question isn''t totally OpenGL oriented but then again it is because I''ll be using OpenGL to render the objects I want to make a simple 3D modeler, something that I can just use to throw a few cubes out and such. So, basically, I want to use Win32 API to create a window with the standard 4 views (front, top, right, perspective) and a toolbar on the right hand side. The only problem is I can''t find anything on the web that shows me what the steps are...gametutorials.com has some good Win32 APIs but they never go into subdividing a window up into different parts. Where can I find this information?

Look into MDI (Multiple-Document-Interface). Here''s
a good tutorial:

And as always, any Win32 API programming book. Check
your local libraries.

most (all)? 3dmax etc create just one window + then subdevide that into smaller viewports (use the gl command of the same name)
