i recently added my current game project, racer ver. 2.85, to the gd showcase. i already got around 50 downloads and i really appreciate that but what i''d appreciate even more is some FEEDBACK! so feel free to download and play the game but PLEASE tell me your opinion about it (even if it''s criticism ;-)). you can either reply to this mail or post to the game''s forum (get there from the download screen - "discuss this game"). thanx a lot need help to program your game? visit http://gamedevs.tripod.com

Kinda neat. I would be better if I could read it. :D

Couldn''t understand how to play it other than go really fast, avoid the little red bubbles and don''t hit the wall.

Your pathing and AI for the bad guys kinda stinks a little bit. They seem to just stick to the outside of the track, it would be good if they pathed better through the corners and didn''t sit on the outside, I won very easily.

Overall though a very good job. Ran smoothly.

first thanx for the comments.
of course the texts will be completely translated at the release version. refering to the ai: did you dislike the overall behaviour of the opponents or just the fact that their too weak? cos second thing can easily be changed first one rather not.
the main reason why the game can''t be run is the missing directX files. make sur eyou got directX 8.1 installed. can''t think of any other reason for genral breakdown.
by the way, i''m fully aware that the published version is full of uncompleted things but i just wanted to get a general feedback maybe people don''t even consider this project worth to continue...
