Your book teaches you classes before looping ?, Well thats different. Go to Bruce Eckel's home page and download all the C++ parts of his book, also buy Tony Royce's 'Programming in C' its about £12-£15. If you read the Royce book, then work through Bruce Eckels with the source, you will be in a much better position than you are now.

When you see a roller coaster, get on it,put your hands in the air,and ride it to the very end.Life doesn''t remember you unless you kick, scream, and claw your way to the top. There is nothing in the world that is impossible. If you believe that you can do it, you will.

Don''t just visit the tutorial. Read it.

No offense, but I somehow get the feeling that after every single page you read in that crappy book you''re reading, you will inevitably come here to ask a question about it. I foresee you quickly becoming the most frequent poster -ever- VERY SOON. Do yourself and everyone here a favor and either get a decent book and READ IT thoroughly (not just the first page of every chapter), or find a study partner or University course or whatever and LEARN. In addition, you will find it useful to heed experienced peoples'' advice, so read it and stop asking the same questions again and again.
