I when i''m drawing things that are projected onto to screen coordinates, such as fonts, there are artifacts that pop up all over the place. In windowed mode everything is fine. Calling glGetError() returns noError, but there is something wrong. This only happended after i installed a new radeon 7000 (I used to be running a voodoo4 and everything was fine). Here is the code to switch to screen coordinates: inline void GlPushOrthographicProjection(float xValue, float yValue) { glMatrixMode(GL_PROJECTION); glPushMatrix(); glLoadIdentity(); gluOrtho2D(0.0, (GLfloat) xValue, 0.0, (GLfloat) yValue); glMatrixMode(GL_MODELVIEW); glPushMatrix(); glLoadIdentity(); } inline void GlPopOrthographicProjection() { glPopMatrix(); glMatrixMode(GL_PROJECTION); glPopMatrix(); glMatrixMode(GL_MODELVIEW); }; Here is the code that i use to draw a string: void printString (GLint x, GLint y, float r, float g, float b, float a, char *s) { //ASSUME THAT THE PROJECTION MATRIX HAS BEEN SETUP FIRST glColor4f(r, g, b, a); glRasterPos3f(x, y, 0.1); glPushAttrib (GL_LIST_BIT); glListBase(fontOffset); glCallLists(strlen(s), GL_UNSIGNED_BYTE, (GLubyte *) s); glPopAttrib (); } Any ideas on what could be wrong? thanks for the help
