Hey, I have a pretty crappy/old graphics card that doesn''t have any OpenGL drivers for it and I was wondering if it would be feasible for me to write the OpenGl driver myself. If so, I''ve never written any kind of driver, so how would I start and what else do I need to do? Thanks. -AJ

You''d need the Windows DDK, the latest OpenGL spec, and lots and lots and lots...and even more lots of time. Don''t bother.

Should I just get SciTech''s GLDirect or a new graphics card? I know I can get a good gfx card for pretty cheap, but this GLDirect is pretty cheap as well, but then again, it''s only an emulator, translates the OGL code into D3D 6 code. I think I''ll go with the new card. Thanks.
