What library files are needed for DirectSound? dsound.lib and what else? I just installed directx8.1 sdk and didnt restart would that have anything to do with it? I''d still think it''d compile... I get a weird error though.... typedef const WAVEFORMATEX *LPCWAVEFORMATEX; c:\dxsdk\include\dsound.h(228) : error C2501: ''LPCWAVEFORMATEX'' : missing storage-class or type specifiers

Why is 99% of the Comp Sci population guys, and the other 1% not female? ;/

nevermind but for you people who have this problem include before dsound.h
