Hi! How to close fullscreen D3D window? This window was created like in tutorial: d3dpp.Windowed = FALSE; D3D->CreateDevice( D3DADAPTER_DEFAULT, D3DDEVTYPE_HAL, hWnd, D3DCREATE_SOFTWARE_VERTEXPROCESSING,&d3dpp, &DeviceOne ) [render to that window] After that i destroy window hWnd (DestoyWindow) and delete all D3D objects: if( DeviceOne != NULL ) DeviceOne->Release(); // release d3d if( D3D != NULL ) D3D->Release(); If a program finished after that - it is ok, but if program continue working (open new window etc. ) - screen is stay in fullscreen mode How i can turn screen in windowed mode back? Please help me!

what do you mean? say if you set the mode to 640*480 in your app you wrote, it stays in 640*480? or what?

it almost sounds like it's bombing out. like when you are exiting that you do something windows or directx doesn't like and bombs out before it can release the d3d stuff
