Ideas for intelligent StarFighter Behaviors

Flocking is only one aspect of steering behaviors . Look at combining
pursuit and avoid behaviors and you should see some examples of
balancing the forces. Be advised, you will not find a ready-made solution
that you can just plug in and have work. Anything will take some effort
on your part to derive your particular solution using these behaviors.
