It''s a program that loads and renders a Half-Life BSP (almost identical to Quake BSP). The program itself is the top link, and the complete source is the bottom link.

There is an article about BSP methods on www.inside3d.com by LordHavoc, and some text about Quake 2 BSPs in the articles on www.flipcode.com. I would recommend reading those and then looking through the Quake source.
