I was thinking about making a game much like Battle Bots, but on the computer. U would build your bot and then fight them against other peoples..... I was wondering if anyone has ever thought on the dynamic of a situation? I am having a hard time coming up with the designed method... in other words, cant figure how to design them... Thinking about making them out of many thousand maybe 10,000 pre-defined units, each with thier own function.... maybee even user-definable ''blocks''..... user defined blocks would be hard to do though because they would be hard to regulate.... Thanx ahead... looking forward to some replys Tazzel3d - Zach Dwiel

it is similar, but i would like to be able to also programm the actual physically simulated structure. RoboCode only you allows u to program it, not design how it moves, how it attacks, etc. Does look good for how to model the brain, though thanx for the link

I remember also of another game where you could program the AI of a bot and have it go against another bot, but in it you couldn''t actually create the bot. The game was BattleBugs..

In addition to what was already mentioned, here are a couple games that are pretty much what you''re talking about Tazzel. You can take a look at them to help you with your own design.
