my app works only in release mode, why ???

I have a very strange bug in my MFC application. When I compile it in release mode everything works correctly. When compiled in debug mode, it renders all white (on GeForce 2 MX with lastest detonators). On some PCs the situation is reversed, mainly those which have ATI cards. I found a similar bug report on this forum but the solution given doesn''t correct the bug on my app (the solution was glDisable(GL_TEXTURE_2D), and I have no textures). Does anyone knows how to fix this strange bug ?? ptl

Usually this means there''s a bug in your code. Often its unitialized variable that is 0 in debug mode and something diffrent in release mode. Check your code.

I''ve already checked this. My code is the same for directx and opengl with a few different fucntions, so I have no globals and i checked all initialisations...
