Can you define custom color ops for multitex?

I''m pretty sure this isn''t possible, but I thought I''d take a shot at it. I''d like to mess around with mutlitexture blending in some ways that aren''t provided by default. Can I define custom color op functions? For example, an Average function that bitshifts by 4 or something... ____________________________________________________________ Direct3D vs. OpenGL
