I got the so claimed free GMax 1.1 from Discreet. They seem to have disabled the export option. Is that true or is something wrong with mine? Without it its useless..

IIRC, you can download something called "Tempest Pack" from Discreet''s site. It enables you to export to .md3 files.

Games that support gmax should provide export plugins to their format.

That''s odd. gmax should be able to export to .3ds by itself...
