How do i fix this...

Looks fairly straightforward to me. The identifier (DSBCAPS_CTRLDEFAULT) does not exist, either because you misspelled it (I''m not sure what it should be) or because you failed to include the proper header files. (Or you forgot to define it yourself.)

Amazing what a google search on DSBCAPS_CTRLDEFAULT turns up:
quote:

Between DirectX 6 and DirectX 8, a sound flag was changed. One error should come up in sound.c about DSBCAPS_CTRLDEFAULT.
The flag should be removed and replaced with:
DSBCAPS_STATIC | DSBCAPS_GETCURRENTPOSITION2 | DSBCAPS_CTRLVOLUME | DSBCAPS_CTRLFREQUENCY | DSBCAPS_CTRLPAN

This came from here, YMMV.
