Direct3d SOS

I built a 3d model and set the animation in 3dmax4, export it as a .3ds file,then produced a x file by the command: conv3ds -A -x filename.3ds real time error''-2005531884(88760314)'' automatic error m_animationset.LoadFromFile "filename.x", 0, 0, Nothing, Nothing, m_botframe i delete -x in the command the error didn''t come up this time,but in my vb picture ,one part of my model wasn''t in its position and the model can not achieve animation. why any help will be appreciated!!!

I''m not too familiar with conv3ds, but most of my books describe it as the work of the devil. >=) As a temporary solution, you could download the 3DSMax exporter plug-in (in the DirectX SDK extras on MSDN site), it works better for me than conv3ds usually does.
