im using a firstbas compiler and a tutorial for qbasic. everytime i try to enter the command pcopy 1,0 it gives me a "=" expected. Is there and alternate command? n e help is appreciated.
I don''t know what the pcopy function does, but it sounds like it is returning a value. That is why it expects the =. Figure out what pcopy is returning, then assign the return value to the correct variable.
Dragging up old memories of QB, I think pcopy is the page flipping function. So PCOPY 1,0 is correct syntax.

Just dowload QB 4.5 or 7.1. It is no longer illegal because M$ doesn''t support DOS anymore...
