Objects in C++

I''ve been looking at a lot of tutorials about C++, but one thing i cant seem to find is how to make objects(even simple ones like a square) appear on the screen could some one help me find a tutorial on how I might do that or give me some advice.

How you do it is dependent on what you''re programming for. You can use SDL, OpenGL, GDI, DirectX, Allegro, etc. Read tutorials about those.

I understand how to program with C++ very basicly because i just started to learn about a month ago but what im not sure on is what opengl is.

OpenGL is a library (a set of functions), that let you ''make objects appear on the screen''.

Tutorials can be found... on this very site or at www.opengl.org.
