some answers:

visual c++ can compile all c++ programs which go by the ANSI standard. However, it also comes with added extras to make it easier to program in Windows. eg. MFC

Really, Visual C++ is just a compiler for C++ and will let you compile any C++ program you write.

Visual C++ is the name of an application, nothing more. C++ is a language
