I really want to make a 2D rpg. I know a lot of Visual Basic and I'm sure I could make the graphics myself. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to make a 2D rpg with my knowledge? [edited by - mofu on May 30, 2002 4:38:59 AM]

Visual Basic sucks. It doesn''t give you the level of control that is involved in maintaining something as complex as an RPG, at least not without wrestling with the language at every turn. I would definitely not want to write a game in VB, but yes, it would be possible if you were determined and knowledgable enough.

Weel, you could, in theory, it just depends on what kind of stuff you want to put in, but I would never choose VB(look at my sig)

Delphi is the best language around.
